Hello!!!

If you’re new to my blog, this is the place to start!

Welcome to Aberrant Alexis! It means so much to me that you decided to check it out!!! This blog is where I discuss pretty much anything and everything that has, is, and WILL be relevant to my personal life and what I believe ANYONE will be able to relate to and enjoy. Basically, I will give some advice, feature movies, music, books, games, etc. to check out if you get bored and need some inspiration, and share entertaining stories about stuff you will find really cool! ;D

WHY THOUGH?!?  WHY NOW?!

Because….

*Ripple effect as you are taken back into the early stages of Alexis’s adolescence and shown never before seen footage of how this decision to become a blogger came to be*

One of the greatest weaknesses I had growing up was…. The urge to conform. And something tells me I was not alone in this struggle!!! The struggle to buy (*cough* convince parents to buy) the trendiest outfits and have the softest hair and have everyone saving me seats and I could go on, but you get the point… Looking back, it’s quite nauseating. Where did this constant battle get me? It transformed me into a ball of anxiety, most of the time. But more than that, while I was only focused on being interested in things other people were interested in, I missed out on a lot of things that I now realize I am ACTUALLY interested in.

So, Aberrant Alexis is what I am calling myself now. Get it? Because it turns out, I am completely different than who I strived to be for so long. I am not of the accepted or normal standard. I am whoever I truly am, and I want to spread that message to everyone. Embrace you. 

Turns out, there are tons of people out there who like the same weird things I like without me having to pretend to be anything other than me. With this being said, I now feel SUPER behind on a lot of things that I had never heard of until a couple years ago because my world was so small then. A lot of those things I would love to talk about, and I would also really enjoy getting feedback on things I could look into to keep broadening my knowledge on well, everything! I really hope you enjoy and this is able to entertain you for a long time to come!
